Men Rings are In Style

It is quite common nowadays to see men wearing a ring. This could be a wedding ring, but not always. To make the biggest impression, unique mens diamond rings is the way to go. There are plenty of locations you can buy a diamond ring for a man, both online and offline. The Internet, however, does make shopping for such jewelery so much simpler and hastle free.

The website CleverEve.com is one that I came across recently. The site offers high quality men’s diamond rings. There are many types of rings to select from, and each ring is described in detail, to help you in your decision making process.

Notably, the prices are quite affordable, being cheaper than what you would normally find in local stores. You can purchase from the site securely and it will be promptly delivered to you. Cattle Disoriented by Power Lines

Scientists, who described last year that deer and cows are inclined to orient themselves in a north-south alignment, have now discovered that power lines can disorient these animals. When the power lines are in an east-west direction, that’s the way grazing cattle tend to align, as reported in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. They also ascertained that cows and deer located under northeast-southwest or northwest-southeast power lines faced in random directions. The research was done using satellite and aerial images.

Last August, the researchers suggested the north-south orientation was due to the earth’s magnetic field. The new study adds power to the argument that animals respond to magnetic effects, since power lines also produce a magnetic field. The effect was most noticeable near the power lines, declining as as distance from the lines grew. The planet’s magnetic field is thought to be a factor in bird navigation, and other animals.

Robot Set to Walk at Fashion Show

A walking and talking robot from Japan, having a smiling female face is set to make a debut at a Tokyo fashion show. However, it still has to pass safety standards. Researchers at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, a government-sponsored organization, stated their “cybernetic human,” wasn’t  yet ready to help with day to day chores or work with people. Currently, the 62.2 inches tall, weighing 95 pounds, black-haired robot is named HRP-4C. The developers said the robot may be used in amusement parks or to perform simulations of human activities, as an exercise instructor, for example.

HRP-4C was configured to resemble a typical Japanese woman, despite having a silver-and-black exterior. The robotic frame, without the face and coverings, will go on sale for about $200,000 each, to allow people to innovate more applications for the robot. The robot has 30 motors in its body for moving its arms and walking plus 8 motors on its face to create expressions like surprise and anger.
