According to MTV, there will be a Beatles edition of the popular Rock Band video game launching on this coming September ninth. The game will have a wide span and will appear on the Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. Additionally, it will be available in North America as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Apparently, and I don’t believe this is confirmed, but would be really cool, there are going to be some special instruments designed to appear like the ones played by the Beatles themselves. No doubt die hard Beatles fans will have quite the time playing as the four pop legends. The software will also work just fine with the regular Rock Band plastic instruments, and should retail for just under sixty dollars
