Facebook to Adopt New Policy

Facebook is going to be run by new rules despite a recent vote that didn’t meet the required minimum necessary for the change. The revised rules say that users will be the owners of their data. An earlier endeavor to make the alterations had resulted in user discombobulation and objections regarding personal data rights. The vote exceeded a figure of 600,000+, with three-quarters were for the alterations.

This is a relatively insignificant number when compared to the 200 million user base. To actually count, the vote should have been 100 times bigger, but the turnout was low. I suppose Facebook could have done a better job of advertising the issue will be up for an online vote.
