While browsing around for esthetician schools in Las Vegas I came across a great one called the Destination Academy. While it seems like their are more and more esthetician schools opening these days, I was particularly impressed with the Destination Academy because of their very comprehensive curriculum. Some schools try to get away with teaching the bare minimum, which is a real disservice to their students in the long run. Destination Academy is different because they leave nothing out and include important topics such as anatomy and physiology, career development, and chemistry in their courses.

Another aspect of the Destination Academy that I was impressed with is that they provide their students a large amount (six hundred hours) of hands on clinical experience so that students graduate ready to step right in to an esthetician position. They also put a strong emphasis on the business side of working in a spa or salon, so that would be entrepreneurs can gain valuable insights on what it would be like to one day run their own salon/spa business.
